The ESP32-MINI-1U series delivers the same ultra-compact power of the ESP32-MINI-1, but with one key upgrade-an external antenna connector (U.FL/IPEX). This gives you the flexibility to use high-gain or specialized antennas, boosting wireless range and improving signal reliability in challenging environments.
Compared to the standard MINI-1 with its onboard antenna, the MINI-1U is better suited for metal enclosures, long-range deployments, or installations where signal penetration is critical. You still get the full ESP32 feature set-dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and low power consumption-in a PCB footprint small enough for wearables, handheld devices, and compact IoT products.
