Generic ESP32 Development Boards

Generic ESP32 boards are unbranded development boards produced by many factories and sold under a range of store names. They follow common reference designs - the DevKitC layout, WROOM/WROVER modules, and the Super Mini form factor - so pinouts and behaviour are usually predictable.

These are the cheapest way to get an ESP32, at the cost of inconsistent documentation and component variation - the USB-to-serial chip in particular can differ between batches.
